No, that's NOT a missed spot in the middle of the bottom photo. This is a pink glaze with white crystals. One crystal landed neatly in the middle.

Love these! When my neighbor still had a kiln in her basement, I couldn't have cared less. Now, it's gone and I want to make the very kewl things. Ain't that the way it goes?
