My First Beaded Cabochon
This is my first attempt at a beaded cabochon. I'm happy with the colors I got, but I think I need more practice before I tackle the rhodochrosite cabochon. Next, I have some small cabochons that would be perfect for earrings.
Deb ...you did a beautiful job, did you check out the about.com beadwork link I sent you has lots of good info.
I love doing cabs.. you can also cab around old dinner plates shards, you just bring the beads up over the edge.
continue having fun,,,I have been busy creating my freeform peyote stitch bracelets some customers fell in love with them at the farmers market and wanted other colors. I do them in 6/0 with 30 lb power pro. will be posting pics on my blog today or tomorrow

That's beautiful Deb! I love the colours in it.
Now I'm wondering what Lorri is talking about putting the cabs around old dinner plates. Will have to go have a look.
Is that picture jasper? Beautiful cab, Deb :) Very nice work, especially for a first go around. What will you do with this now that it's bezeled?
