My first attempt at making ladles. Low-fire white clay.
Casserole inspired by dried poppy seed pods and made from mica clay. That dark spot is where I had to wet the clay to repair a crack.
This one is a happy accident. I was going to make it into a sugar bowl, but I waited too long and the pot dried too much to finish it. I liked the way the bowl looked, so it's going to be bisqued, glazed and fired.
